About Us
Positive Performance Consulting was founded by Lindsey Wilson, a former three-time All-Big 12 Conference Player at Iowa State University. While at Iowa State, Lindsey’s teams won two Big 12 Conference Tournament Championships ,a regular season Championship and twice reached the sweet sixteen. Part of three NCAA tournament teams, Lindsey received Honorable Mention All American honors, Academic All American honors, and was a three time All Big 12 selection. In 2003, Lindsey Graduated with honors as the second all time leading scorer and all time assist leader for the Iowa State Cyclones. She was drafted by the WNBA Connecticut Sun and played professionally in Europe and the Middle East for 8 years.
Lindsey was featured in the Oscar nominated documentary “The Heart of the Game” and her writing has been featured in the NYTimes.com, VISIONS magazine, FullCourtPress, com and Ta Nea (Athens, Greece) Newspaper.
As the owner and lead presenter for Positive Performance Consulting, Lindsey works with athletes and coaches to unlock player and team potential through mental performance training. Lindsey has presented at Vilnius University (Vilnius, Lithuania), Athens Community School (Athens, Greece), Illinois State University, Seattle University, the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association convention, Illinois State University, Seattle University, University of Oklahoma, Arizona State University, and University of Albany presenting mental performance training tools and techniques. In addition to her expertise in mental performance training, Lindsey is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist (NSCA) and a Certified Hypnotist (NGH).
